Charlottesville, Va., Nov. 7. 1909 - The third annual bench show of the National Beagle Club of Ameriaca was held this afternoon at Hunters Hall, the headquaters of the club, 5 miles east of Charlottesville, under American Kennel Club rules.

Charlottesville, Va., Nov. 7. 1909 - The third annual bench show of the National Beagle Club of Ameriaca was held this afternoon at Hunters Hall, the headquaters of the club, 5 miles east of Charlottesville, under American Kennel Club rules.
The entry list was the largest in the history of the club, and the comeptition was keen. George B. Post, jr., of Bernardsville, N. J., showed some of his importations for the first time in America, and captured many prizes. William G. Rockefeller also came in for a large share of the prizes.
Chetwood Smith, of Worcester, Mass., was judge. The other members of the bench show committee present were Ramsay Turnbull, secretary, Bernardsville, N. J.; James W. Appleton, Ipswich, Mass., and G. Mifflin Wharton, Bernardsville, N. J.
